Lake Garda
Many words can be used to describe Lake Garda. Words of people who live on the shores of the lake, who know very well its grandeur or words of distant figures, characters left in the story.
Because it is normal that the grandeur and beauty of this spectacle of nature has impressed even the greatest writers of our history, from Catullus who had a house on these shores to Dante who recalls it in the XX Canto dell’Inferno.
With its 370km² it is the largest lake in Italy and it couldn’t fail to hold a leading position in politics, culture and tourism in the past, present and, certainly, also in the future.
Because even when our words become part of the history of this everlasting stretch of water, it will still be there, to enchant those who have the good fortune to walk along its shores.
